“Improvisation is an homage to liveliness! A revolution in spirit, body, mind and expression and a collective process of liberation!“

* We understand improvisation as a research and development process of a decentralized composition system – as the possibility of a collective composition that is created, influenced and supported by everyone involved. This needs people/artists who are attentive and open in their perception – for their own needs and inner impulses, for those of other ones and all events and occurrences in the room. In the “Instant/Collective Composition” one thing leads to another, different personalities and disciplines can enter into a dialogue or merge completely.

LiSi*A supports artists and art projects who work experimentally with the connection of different disciplines and artistic media and who question their categories. It promotes and supports artistic and scientific research projects that deal with "Instant Composition" and the possibilities of collective composition. LiSi*A promotes new forms of individual artistic expression and artistic statements on the social role of art and the human in larger contexts.

"Liberating Structures for Improvised Art" is an organ of communication, organization, agreements and negotiations with institutions. It is the structural foundation for creating the requirement for artists to freely research, create and develop their individual and collective artistic expression.
